Chartered Financial Planner

Chartered status is awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and is considered the “gold standard” of financial planning accreditations. Chartered status is viewed as a symbol of technical competence and signifies a public commitment to upholding professional standards and adhering to the financial planning professional Code of Ethics.

Fellow of Personal Finance Society

Alan is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS). Fellowship is the highest designation awarded by the PFS. Completion of the Fellowship programme demonstrates that he has attained and maintained the most prestigious level of professional financial planning achievement available in our profession.

Pension Transfer Specialist

Pension transfers can be complex and therefore require specialist advice. Any firm advising on DB transfers must have been granted special permissions from the regulator to do so. As a Pension Transfer Specialist, Alan has acquired the in-depth knowledge and practical skills needed to advise on the transfer of safeguarded benefits and has satisfied all the FCA qualification requirements.

A keen runner, Alan has completed numerous races over a variety of distances including half-marathon and marathon.
